The villa draws inspiration from local building traditions—simple volumes, lime plaster, timber elements, and stone detailing—reinterpreted with contemporary clarity to resonate with the site while honouring regional character.

Material tactility guides every choice, selecting materials for honest fabrication and climate suitability to create an interior that feels tactile and seamless, blurring the line between inside and outside. The architecture sits lightly on the slope, its siting shaped to preserve views, wind patterns, and generous outdoor spaces, fostering a harmonious relationship with the surrounding topography. Large, open-plan spaces unfold to terraces and the landscape, allowing natural light to permeate deeply and enabling flexible living while maintaining a strong visual link to the horizon. Windows, openings, and pergolas are carefully calibrated to frame panoramic views of the Aegean, ensuring that every room experiences the landscape as a living artwork. The result is a villa that feels timeless and regionally rooted, yet modern in its material honesty and spatial fluency. It invites quiet contemplation of the sea, the hills, and the changing light across Pogonia’s coast.
