This project was a full spatial and layout renovation for an under-utilized and closed off apartment in Sea Point. The apartment was reimagined into an open-concept one-bedroom residence with a dedicated study nook.

he removal of unnecessary partitions and enclosed balcony, expanded the living area and introduced sweeping corner windows - framing breathtaking panoramic views of the Atlantic Seaboard and city skyline, fostering a strong indoor-outdoor connection and maximizing natural light without requiring a traditional balcony.

To maintain a sleek look, the kitchen utilities and integrated appliances are enclosed within a sleek pocket door cupboard, with an Invisacook to keep clutter out of sight, maintaining a clean and streamlined aesthetic. There was rich layering of tonal hues, complemented by vibrant pops of colour, along with curated elements like the handcrafted imported tiles and Japanese oak parquet flooring to the rich walnut joinery and sleek stone surfaces. The ceiling detail also plays a big role in layering and bringing in ambient lighting, creating a modern yet warm and inviting ambiance.
