“Materiality played a prominent role in creating a natural and motive feeling around the space and how it connect the apartment to the outside surroundings” - Bryce Henderson

In this project we shifted the mezzanine bedroom from the front of the apartment to the back and re orientated the circulation to create this light double volume space. The kitchen is concealed behind pivot door system, which makes the space multifunctional. An interesting design feature was the joinery from downstairs joining up with above and linking through the glass floor.
